Sunken Gardens St. Petersburg, Florida

When the 1st time I arrived here in the States on year 2005, before my husband and I got married, we went in “Sunken Gardens” and I liked the gardens since there are some butterfly and it is a big garden. This garden was renovated for an attraction and this is 100 year old tropical garden and home of some oldest botanical specimens. In the garden, you will find the waterfall, flamingo, butterfly garden and much more that you will find there. Since we liked in “Sunken Garden” my husband and I decided to get married there, we suppose to get married on the beach as we just live right on the beach but we thought might the weather or it might be windy that time. On year 2005 month of Sept. my husband got married in this “Sunken Garden” and that is why I loved this botanical garden and during our wedding we suppose to release 2 doves but we decided to released butterflies and even the guests, my friends, family and each one of them released the butterfly too and that was great and perhaps the butterfly now that we let it go are still alive and it was very memorable moments we had and never be forgotten to all our visitors as that was a unique one events that we did on our wedding day. The address of “Sunken Gardens” is 1825 Fourth St. N., St. Petersburg and the hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday and the admission cost $8 for adults, $4 for children and $6 for senior citizens. Garden tours, school field trips, and private rentals are available. I loved “Sunken Gardens” and I’d love to go back there again.
