The South Beach Place Hotel Vero Beach, Florida

My husband I did arrive this hotel yesterday about 3pm. I was impress because the motel was clean, well maintained, has a big heated pool with 3.ft-6ft. deep. There was a barbecue grill by the pool if you want to grill something, it has a cassette, which you can listen while you are swimming and while I was swimming in the pool with my husband, I had good time listening the music while swimming and I stood in the pool and dance because of the music (lol). The room was look clean, well decorated, I like the color, and it has fresh flower on the table and I like that too. The bed was comfortable, the nice colorful unique lampshade. The room has almost everything as it has appliances such as toaster, utensils, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, stove, cassette, TV, and of course it has an Internet connection. As what I know, every room has different designs and it has a sophisticated designs and I love it.This hotel is just nearby the beautiful Vero Beach, I can say in just 1-2 minutes away, and it is nearby neighborhood eateries. Besides this motel has a free bicycle that you can use and my husband did biking nearby this motel and we had fun that time. The host was very nice and he gives us an information where to eat and what to do and others. I love staying this kind of nice motel, the price was $150 dollars a night, that is not bad at all with good accommodations, and I do not have anything to complain. Having Fun In Vero Beach, Florida

My husband and I arrived here in Vero Beach, Florida. It is about 3 hours drive from our place. It is far but it was just fine because we played music, sing, talked each other and stopped to buy some snacks in the stores. When we arrived in the motel, we did checked in and leave our stuff, as the hotel has bikes and I liked it and we decided to do biking. I noticed, the area is nice, quiet, friendly people, nice beach but not alot of people and probably because it is not summer time yet. There are some nice condos restaurants and nice houses too.My husband and I were hungry and we went to the restaurant that we are going to eat but they are close they will just open starting at 4 o’clock and we decided to walk on the beach walked for about half an hour and took some pictures and after maybe 25 minutes it rained a little bit but that was fine it was not a heavy rain. I had fun walking on the beach but the sand are kind of soft and when you walk it is hard for you to walk because your feet will stuck and you will try to struggle to walk or else you will stuck into the sand, well we are in the Atlantic beach and it is different than in Gulf beach.After 4 o’clock we went to the restaurant that we wanted to eat in and when we get there just me and my husband and the two couple waiting to get in there and that was just an early time to eat for our dinner. I had a good time today, especially biking as seems been a long time I have not doing it and had a bike but my husband gave it to his co-worker and I just used it maybe 2 times. Doing biking, it reminds me when I was in elementary grade that I crashed in the ditch (lol). I really had fun today walking on the beach and biking with my husband, watching him biking makes me smile as he said to me its been a long time also he did not do biking, he said he just did it when he was at age 21 or 22 (ha-ha-ha), can u imagine he is now 39 that is too long he did not do it. I was thinking my husband is kind of a big guy and if he will do biking might the bicycle will have a problem or the wheel will be flat, but I am glad everything was fine when he did biking today (lol).

The Colorful Logo In Google Website

Last night, I wanted to search something in youtube and when I opened the Google website, the logo was changed and it looks cute, pretty and colorful. I have not seen the logo that I like most. I do not know when it will go and I hope it will stay longer as I like the style, it is simple but great! It is one of my favorite logo styles in Google. They seems changed when there is an occasion or holiday but they changed it last night even there is no holiday or occasion, maybe there is that I do not know.

- I started blogging on month of August 2007 but I stopped since I was tired of it and I just had about 7 entries and did not use it anymore.

-Inspired me writing a blog is to remember all my pasts likes my travels and fun together with my husband. Besides, I can practice my english here and makes my mind works writing an English here. My mentor is just my sister, she thought me on how to do layout and do blogging and everything especially when the 1st time making my blog. She encouraged me to make a blog and I am into it right now and it is fun!

The Lemon Tree Restaurant At Vero Beach, Florida

My husband and I woke up this morning about 8 am and we wanted to walk on the beach, but we changed our mind, because it suddenly rain even though it was not heavy one, but it is not good to walk on the beach while it’s raining and it is windy and cold too! We decided to eat our breakfast instead of walking on the shore. We drove to the “Lemon Tree Restaurant” and we are just about 5 minutes away from our motel that we stayed in. When we were in the restaurant, I noticed mostly are old people there and there might be just about 5 younger ones including me. The restaurant is very popular as even it is just 8:30 a lot of people there and the tables are all occupied and there are some people waiting outside to get in. My husband did order a Belgian waffle with strawberries and cream and I had an omelet with home fries and wheat toast, we did not order fruit because we had an orange juice and besides it is breakfast meal we tend not to eat too much as we were not that hungry. The restaurant is nice but crowded and the service is good and the host. I definitely recommend this to all!

The Boiled Peanuts

My husband drove from our place to Vero Beach, we were hungry but we end up buying boiled peanuts on the road. It is been a long time I have not eaten peanuts before; maybe about 1-2 years and I miss it so much. When I saw a sign yesterday the “boiled peanuts” I urged my husband that we need to buy some. It was good and it satisfies my hungers. We did not really eat in the restaurant somewhere on the road trip, because we thought we will eat food when we arrive in Vero Beach. Well, I liked the peanuts and it was good since I have not tasted it for almost two years and I do not see often here in the States boiled peanuts and how I wish some restaurants serves that one.

Changing Plans For Weekend Fun

My husband and I did decide to go somewhere this weekend as we thought it is somewhat boring by just staying at home during weekend and we need to go somewhere, even though we live right on the beach. We planned to stay even in just one night in the hotel by the beach. So, we talked about it last night and we planned to go to Clearwater Beach, Florida about noon time today. We are just about 35 minutes away from our house that beach that I said above. My husband and I just passed Clearwater area sometimes and it is alot of shopping center and alot of traffic lights and it is everything there and it is a big area too! I heard good things about Clearwater beach, they said it is nice in there and that is why I agreed to go there.
In the morning, I packed all my stuff and I kind of busy and I was thinking we are really going there but then almost 10:30 I did not really in hurry to packed all my things, because I was thinking that beach that we are going to go to it is just 35minutes away and that is not far at all. When I was ready and I was feel excited that we are going to Clearwater Beach and I live almost three years in Florida but that beach I have not been there yet, shame on me, we should gone there, but you know the more nearer place, that’s the place that we do not want to visit. This morning, I was in the car and I asked my husband, if we are going to Clearwater beach, and he said “no” I was surprised because he said we are going to “Vero Beach” that is about 3 hours away from our condo. I really thought we will be just in Clearwater, he said he changed his mind as he saw the map and the Vero Beach is somewhat remote area, so its ok for me I just did not argue about it. It is good to go somewhere during weekend and have fun to another place that we never been too and it is a good experience.

Practice Shooting A Gun

One time, my husband did urge me to go with him to do practice shooting a gun. I never had been doing it. When I was there I was feel nervous as I never did it before, but I tried not to show to my husband that I am scared (lol) he might think I am that a person who easily scared. When the first time shooting the dots on the paper, I was shaking and the empty bullets was flying on my head, if I do not have a protection for my eyes it might hurt them. After few minutes, I gained confidence-shooting gun but my heart still pumping fast. When the time goes by when we were there makes me feel bored and I asked him to go home. It was fun that time and great experience for me shooting a gun with my husband. I am not good in shooting gun but I learned and I had a good time there.

Airplane 1st-Class Seats

I have a card of Northwest Airlines and I earned a lot points as we used to ride a Northwest Airlines from Florida to Detroit-Philippines. Since I earned a lot of points, I can use it to purchase a free ticket and besides if you are a silver elite there will be a chance you will be upgraded into a 1st class seat. Perhaps, if my husband and I will go back in PI this year, we could get a free ticket for him or for me. Therefore, it is a big save of money. I like Northwest Airlines since their service much better now and their steward/stewardess are friendly. I remember last year on December, my husband and I were upgraded into a 1st class seats from Detroit-Tampa and we are happy about it, because we can have a free meal and we can drink any beverages that we requested. In addition you will be feel more comfortable as the seat is big and my husband sometimes laugh at me as he said “look at you, the chair is so big for you” (ha-ha)and I just smile when he say that to me. It is just a good experience when riding a plane seating in the 1st class.

My First Time Riding A Plane

My 1st ride in the plane was on year of 2003 and I was so excited because I have not flown before that year. I am glad my sister did pay me to ride a plane. I was being an ignorant because I have not ride a plane before. I am just happy that I had an opportunity that time and thought I will be scared but I realized it is just like you are riding a bus. In riding a plane, it is fun because you can see the ocean, the scenery, the cities and others if the plane is not high up in the clouds. In my country, it is expensive to ride a plane especially I did not work that time yet. You know it is expensive unless you have enough money to buy a ticket but now my husband and I travel sometimes and so I ride plane often. It seems I cannot remember and count anymore, since I live here in the States. I just wanted to write this because I want to share my moments and my first time riding a plane.

It Is Complicated

I did purchase a new domain, as I did accidentally delete my website. It is just a sad feeling when you did an effort and you tried to beautify your site and spent time with it. It is annoying, I was just being careless, I will make sure it will not happen to me next time. I am glad that I did not delete my other blog site and the more I will get mad about it. Well, life must go one (he-he) I must not need to think about it, so that I will be good to myself.

My Favorite Cereal

My favorite cereal that I always buy is the “Honey Nut Cheerios” from a brand of “General Mills.” I like the taste of the honey nut cheerios because it is not so sweet and it flavored with real honey and almond.
Every time when my husband and I do grocery shopping, I grab this kind of cereal, as this one is suit to my taste. This type of cereal I eat this during breakfast time or as a snack as sometimes my food is not cook yet and I eat this cereal.
This honey nut cheerios is a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol and eating this kind cereal and it may reduce the risk of heart disease and can help lower cholesterol. I tend to serve this to my husband especially when he is hungry than serving him a bunch of crappy food. I just love to know myself that I found the kind of cereal that I like.

Snow Storm In Ohio

My husband and I been in Michigan for about 10 days, we spent Christmas with his family and visited some of his long life friends. I had fun staying with his family, it such a wonderful to get together with his family as I do not see them often. My husband and I did visit his best friend in Cleveland, Ohio. On that day, it was started snowing a little bit, it was kind of fun as I do not see snow often and I live in the state which it does not snow and I took some pictures that time. Snowing is can be annoying especially when it does all day and it is dangerous to drive as you can’t see the road while you are driving, like we experienced last night was snow storm. It was my 1st time riding a car was snow storm happens. I saw cars are crashed on the side of the road last night it was such a horrible weather, so I did paying attention while I was at the back seat.It was kind of cool watching the snow falling on the ground but eventually you will get tired of it and it such a peril to drive during snow storm. You should be careful when you are driving the snow especially you can’t see the line of the road.
