Mayfly or Fishfly

Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I went to the pier park and there were tons of fishfly which are kind of annoying but they will be gone for about 2-3 days. I haven't seen a lot of mayfly before and I was amazed watching the fishflies and they are look funny since they seems keep bouncing while flying. I wanted to share about more info. of mayfly which you can find here at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayfly which it says mayflies are insects which belong to the Order Ephemeroptera (from the Greek ephemeros = "short-lived", pteron = "wing", referring to the short life span of adults). They have been placed into an ancient group of insects termed the Palaeoptera, which also contains dragonflies and damselflies. They are aquatic insects whose immature stage (called naiad or, colloquially, nymph) usually lasts one year in freshwater. The adults are short-lived, from a few minutes to a few days depending on the species. To know more about it, copy and paste the link that I provided above.
